Men… It doesn’t matter if you have had a great start in the Christian life or not; it doesn’t matter if you’ve stumbled time and again along the way – or even fallen flat on your face; the race is still before you.

These days, the Christian man who hangs in there for the long haul with his wife, his kids, and his Lord is an exception: maybe only one man in ten will make it. The challenges a man will face are increasing. The issue that faces a man more than ever is not how he started out as a Christian, but how he will finish.

No matter what a man does in life, he is in fulltime ministry, doing everything as unto the Lord. It takes tough choices and the grit of experience in order to finish strong and hit the tape at whatever age the Lord takes him home.

Prepare yourself to go the distance. Get hold of God’s strategy. Run your race with integrity. Be one of God’s Champions by finishing strong.



JIM SCHMITT

Jim Schmitt and his wife Jan are the founding pastors of World Outreach Christian Centre in Limerick, Ireland. Following a successful career in business, Jim left the corporate world to fulfil the call of God as a missionary to Ireland.

Jim has an intense love for God and a passion for the Word that projects into every area of life. His message to the church is simple – the greatest adventure in life is living for God and if we aren’t having fun, then we’re not doing it right! He will encourage and ignite you to – Get in the Word – Believe It - Live It!

Jim and Jan are both graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center USA.

GORDON SIMMONDS

studied at Rhema Bible Training Centre, Johannesburg, after being radically converted from a life on the tennis circuit. Following graduation, he lectured at the Centre for almost 14 years and then lectured and became school Dean at Heritage of Faith Bible Institute in Johannesburg.

Gordon has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a BA in Religious Education and is currently a leader at The Barn in Johannesburg where he oversees the Operations and Spiritual Development departments. Gordon and his wife, Lesley, have two boys.

GERRI DI SOMMA

In South Africa, Pastor Gerri had been a successful businessman who, with Michelle, became a member of Rhema Bible Church. In 1985 they attended Rhema Bible Training Centre where Pastor Gerri was invited to become a lecturer and pastor at the Centre. Two years later he became Director of Faculty

They started a church in Bristol in October 1996 and a Bible Training Centre in September 1997. Standing firmly on Bible truths, Carmel ministries international are influencing the community through publications, evangelism, church meetings and are now being called upon internationally to share their ministry insights when sharing the Word of God.

LARRY ELLIOTT

Larry was born on the 16 April 1966 in Krugersdorp, South Africa. He grew up with 4 brothers and turned out to be a walking testimony of the Grace of God. Larry and Debra felt the call of God to be replanted and birthed a church on the South Coast called Rhema South Coast Family Church, which is very involved in the community. Larry’s attitude and outlook on life is full of zeal and passion and all he lives for is to see people’s lives changed by the power of God’s love.

His church back in South Africa has built a culture of Loving God, Loving yourself and Loving people! He is now married to Mandy Elliott and they are a dynamic couple. You will be impacted by the anointed and relevant preaching of Pastor Larry!
